Diamond Kennels Policies

We strive to provide the highest quality of pet care possible. We take the responsibility for caring for your dogs and cats seriously. We understand and respect that they are valued members of the family. We have placed the following policies in effect to ensure that all of our guests and their owners are treated with care and respect.

Checkout Time

You may check-in or checkout during any of our hours of operation. However, checkouts after noon (12:00pm) are charged for that day's stay.

Deposits and Cancellation Policies

We request a deposit of $50.00 for holiday stays for each reserved run. Your deposit is processed at the time you make your reservation, and is applied to your total upon check-out. We have a three day minimum cancellation policy. For example, if you are to arrive on Wednesday, you must cancel by Sunday, 7:00pm in order to obtain a deposit refund. You do not have a confirmed reservation until your deposit is received.

Health and Safety Considerations

Your pet's health is of the utmost importance to us. All pets must be flea-free. Flea baths will be given at the owners expense to any dogs or cats that arrive with fleas or ticks. The following vaccinations are required and must be administered at least one week prior to check in:

Dogs: DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella
Cats: FVRCP and Rabies

We suggest that you have your veterinarian fax your pet's shot records to us as soon as you make your reservations. Our fax number is (937) 962-9441. We cannot accept your pet without proof of vaccinations.

We require all new clients to furnish vaccination records prior to the boarding date. Your reservation is not confirmed until we receive the vaccination records.

We will administer medication at no charge with the exception of injections, which we do not give.

We cannot admit any pet with stitches, bandages, a cast, head cone, or splint. These pets have special needs that can be better served in a veterinarian/hospital setting. We cannot accept any pet that is pregnant or in heat.

Special Puppy and Kitten Precautions

We do not board puppies or kittens under the age of six months. This policy is in place to protect your pet, as their immune systems are not as strong as an adult dog or cat. In addition, we recommend that all puppies and kittens, one year or less, receive their vaccinations at least two weeks prior to check in.

We serve Eukanuba pet food products included with the daily rate.

We designed the building to protect and maximize your pets outdoor pleasure all year round. The curtains can be opened or closed depending on the weather conditions.
